A 'Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5' Casino DLC update could bring poker, blackjack, and other gambling minigames to single player and multiplayer modes, based on rumors.

GTA’s Online casino’s entrance has been firmly barricaded for so long that players were already speculating that the door sign stating ‘Opening Soon’ what. Now, Rockstar Games have added the Diamond Casino & Resort to GTA Online. It's a pretty cool-sounding new location, replete with a rooftop infinity pool, lots of new missions and a virtual casino.
Back in March 2015, rumors surfaced about a 'GTA 5' Casino update that could add minigames such as poker, blackjack, slots, horse race betting, roulette, and even a lottery system. The details regarding the new content are still unclear, but the rumors from last year are still rumbling until now, according to iDigital Times.
Just this week, 'GTA 5' tipster Funmw2 posted a comment on a 'GTA' Forums thread about a missing FOS V4 capture from 2013. The post said his capture was removed and his money was taken to be used for the casino that will appear in a Single Player (SP) DLC, the report details.
In the 'GTA' Forums' The Next DLC Discussion Thread, Funmw2 also posted a message announcing that the 'GTA 5' Casino update will be available in the Single Player and Multiplayer DLCs. The tipster also hinted that three minigames — Blackjack, poker, and slot — will be added in the update, the report relays.
If the rumors about the 'GTA 5' Casino DLC prove to be true, the online gambling will definitely be close to real gambling. Players who will dare play in the virtual casino will not be able to retrieve their cash once they lose, Online Casino Reports says.

There are a few signs pointing to an impending release of the Casino DLC. First, Funmw2's post was under The Next DLC Discussion Thread, suggesting that the update will arrive soon. In addition, the Casino building in 'GTA' has been displaying a banner with the words 'Coming Soon' since its release.
As of now, there is still no concrete proof or legitimate announcement about a 'GTA 5' Casino DLC update, but rumor has it that it could be released in the first half of 2016. Until then, fans are advised to take the rumors and speculations with a grain of salt.
